Christine E. Aumiller is originally from Harrisburg, Pennsylvania where she received her dance training at Pennsylvania Regional Ballet under the direction of Sandra Carlino. After graduating from High School she went to New York on Full Scholarship at The Joffrey Ballet School. In 2007, she broadened her training and attended SUNY Purchase College and graduated with her BFA in Dance Performance in May of 2011. Soon after graduation she was offered a contract with Carnival Cruise Lines. From 2011-2013 she worked as a dancer on the seas. She currently resides in St. Louis. She had her first piece of choreography set on Pennsylvania Regional Ballet “Clarity of a Storm” performed at Regional Dance America Northeast in May 2014, and her most recent work “Whakatoi” will be performed at RDA NE in May 2015. She is extremely honored to be on the faculty of Columbia Performing Arts Centre for the 2015/2016 season.
