Ensemble/Troupe/MiniTroop

Under the direction of Jennifer Lee, the CPAC competition program has evolved into a regionally and nationally acclaimed dance group that focuses not only on dance technique and performance, but also on the exploration and expression of human emotion and communication through the art of dance. CPAC strives to produce dancers that are well-rounded, educated and accomplished in many forms of dance with the strongest emphasis in ballet training. Team members are selected and placed in numbers through an audition process in late Spring. Opportunities for participation are available for ages 4 through 18 through our various competition team segments.  Non-CPAC dancers are always welcome!

Competitive Programs

Ensemble (Ages 6-18)

Dancers selected for this highly coveted and committed team train between 6-20 hours per week with a strong emphasis in ballet training. Ensemble members are required to take ballet and jazz classes weekly (tap is optional but encouraged).  They typically attend 4-6 competitions each year as well as 2-3 conventions. Email us at competition@cpac-dance.com for additional information!

Troupe (Ages 6-9)

Team members train for three to four hours per week and attend two competitions per year. Because these dancers are slightly older, they are able to experience a bit more training each week than our MiniTroop.  This is a great way to learn about how competition works with a small time commitment.  Email us at competition@cpac-dance.com for additional information!

MiniTroop  (Ages 4-5)

Team members train for two hours per week and attend two competitions per year. This is a great way to learn about how competition works with a small time commitment.  Email us at competition@cpac-dance.com for additional information!

**Dancers age 10 & over may audition for either Ensemble or CPAC Collective.
